Dr. Jereme Schumacher PT, DPT, FRCms, CF-L1, FMT Blades
Dr. Jereme Schumacher PT, DPT, brings a wealth of knowledge from multiple disciplines of physical therapy. After graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University in 2017, Dr. Schumacher pursued a certification in Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), CrossFit Level-1 trainer, FMT Blades Advanced, and attained certificates from the Applied Functional Science (AFS) Chain Reaction seminar. Coupled with extensive clinical mentorship in manual therapeutics, outpatient orthopedics, and biomechanical evaluations, Jereme has developed a diverse skill set, that can be utilized to progress individuals throughout their fitness journey.
As a former collegiate football player and current powerlifter/CrossFit athlete, Jereme understands the physical and mental demands that are required to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. This has allowed him to successfully treat athletes from the middle school level, all the way up to the professional and olympic levels. Jereme's goal, is to provide individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to continually progress towards reaching their full potential.
Gary Berwick III, CSCS
Gary Berwick III brings experience working with both general population and athletes from all levels of sports. Following his own sports career, Gary began pursuing helping others with their fitness, health, wellness, and athletic performance. He began his career in training as a Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in 2014 where he worked with variety of clients ranging from high school athletes to elderly individuals training for the first time ever to combat the effects of chronic disease. During his time with 24, Gary earned a position as an intern sports performance coach with Winner Circle Athletics in Corona, CA. This provided Gary with a new knowledge base and experience working with athletes. While at Winner Circle Athletics he worked with athletes ranging from ages 5 to professional, integrating a variety of training modalities.
Following this experience, Gary would begin an internship with the Strength and Conditioning department at California State University, San Bernardino. This would ultimately lead to job offer with Victory Athletics, based out of Murrieta, CA, that has allotted Gary the chance to continue working with athletes for the past couple of years. During this time Gary worked as a an assistant strength and conditioning coach and varsity football coach at Rancho Cucamonga High School in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Gary brings a work hard attitude from his experience as D1-AA football and rugby player that is necessary when pursing fitness and performance goals. He himself has competed in Powerlifting, Spartan Races, and sprint triathlons. His experience has taught him how to work with individuals from various fitness backgrounds and help them succeed. Gary graduated with his B.S. in kinesiology with an emphasis on exercise science and is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Personal Trainer.
